Empowering Future Scholars
The National Science Foundation's (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Ohio State supports early-career faculty in pursuit of this award through the CAREER Proposal Development Program, a service of the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge. Applications, including a one-page project summary are due January 12, 2024.
The program runs from February through June. Each month focuses on a different topic, including:
- Information on the CAREER program.
- Review of online material related to a proposal section
- Presentation on and group discussion of the topic
- Submission of a draft for peer review
- Providing peer review to colleagues
Participants who complete the program have priority access to the Engineering Technical Communications team services in final proposal preparation.
