Promoting the development, implementation and coordination of sponsored research
The Office of Grants and Contracts (OGC) is organized to efficiently accommodate the needs of researchers and sponsors. Contracts from private industry and for-profit organizations are administered by the Office for Business and Industry Contracts (OBIC). OGC staff manage grants and contracts from nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Constituencies are assigned to Office of Sponsored Programs sponsored program officers (SPOs) according to academic or administrative unit.
