We have resources to help you.

In addition to the resources below, the Office of Academic Affairs provides valuable information to new faculty members on a host of issues. Further, each college has an associate dean for research who has access to additional resources available at the college level.
Becoming a Principal Investigator
A principal investigator (PI) is an individual designated by the university as having the appropriate level of authority and responsibility for the proper conduct of research. The Office of Research manages this process for the university.
Find Funding
Ohio State’s research and creative expression community relies on a variety of funders including federal agencies, private foundations, state agencies and corporations to support efforts to discover new knowledge and innovations.
Student Involvement
At Ohio State, undergraduate, graduate and professional students are encouraged to take part in the process of discovery that goes beyond the traditional boundaries of the classroom and have access to compelling educational opportunities.
