Office of Secure Research

The Office of Secure Research (OSR) supports and enhances the ability of Ohio State’s research community to securely perform and manage restricted research projects and activities. OSR helps enable cutting-edge research by effectively managing Ohio State’s compliance with complex regulations governing the use, storage and transfer of controlled knowledge and materials. OSR helps researchers and leadership to synergistically navigate the processes of complying with federal regulations and obligations in three main areas: export controls, national security and international engagements in research.
