For the research community: The folder Research Reporting Office Hours includes recordings from both office hour sessions, as well as a spreadsheet job aid on “Top Reports for Grants Administrators”, the PowerPoint slides from each session, and a combined Q&A document that captures questions asked during the sessions.

For the PIs: The folder PI Office Hours includes links to the session recordings, a spreadsheet job aid on “Top Reports for Principal Investigators”, a Q&A document and slides from the sessions.

Please note: If you have an osumc.edu address and receive an error when trying to access the files, use the Request Access link.

Updates made to Principal Investigator Summary dashboard in Workday

When accessing the Workday Principal Investigator Summary dashboard, you will notice that links to commonly used reports that are not already part of the dashboard were recently added to the right-hand side of the dashboard. The links allow you to access reports quickly. Links to reports within the dashboard were also added, in case you would want to run them independent of the dashboard.

Next, the Other Funding report within the dashboard has been moved to a separate tab within the dashboard to avoid the worklet timing out. This update also requires a one-time setup step needed to run the report within the dashboard. Please use the instructions below to access:

  1. Click on the Other Funding tab.
  2. Let the worklet run until it times out or loads.
  3. Click on the smaller gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Other Funding report and click Edit Settings.
  4. In the Assignee field, type in your lastname.# and select the appropriate value.
  5. Click OK and then click Done.

Moving forward, the worklet will continue to run for your assignee. To change the assignee, follow the same steps, above, and add the new assignee’s lastname.# in the Assignee field.
