In 2021 NIH announced that, starting January 25, 2022, “all principal investigators and other senior/key personnel must electronically sign the Other Support form, prior to its submission to NIH, certifying that the information is accurate and complete”.
NIH recently clarified that Other Support submissions must have an electronic signature and that “wet or typed names are not accepted as signatures.” Senior/key personnel at Ohio State should use DocuSign signature, Ohio State’s digital signature software.
