Pain and cerebral pain processing in dementia

Dr. Beach will discuss how aging is associated with increased risk of both pain and cognitive impairment from acquired and neurodegenerative dementias. This talk will describe current understanding of how pain perception and associated cerebral processing is affected by various dementing illnesses.
