Briefing: NSF Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Program

Understand the context for the release of the solicitation and funding opportunity, review a synopsis of previously funded NSF S-STEM proposals (including recent Ohio State successes) and learn recommendations for a competitive proposal. The briefing will also discuss how the Research Development Office can assist interested teams. The current NSF S-STEM opportunities provide funding that ranges from $100,000 for one year for planning grants up to $5,000,000 over six years for inter-institutional consortia projects. Ohio State is limited to two proposal submissions overall, including as a sub-awardee or member of a consortium. 

A Limited Submission competition will be held in November and full proposals are due February 20, 2023.
