The Ohio State University will soon be home to one of the most important databases of cultural heritage artifacts from the Arabian Peninsula. OCIANA was previously hosted at Oxford University.

OCIANA 2.0 is being launched at OSU as part of the Digital Arabia project. We will host a high-level workshop of international speakers to showcase the database, its updated content, improved usability, and the importance of the archeological finds that will be accessible exclusively through this database. A delegation of government officials from Oman, Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi
Arabia, will visit Ohio State to inaugurate the new asset and participate in the workshop.
