The Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Ohio, in collaboration with the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Kentucky and the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Minnesota, will host the second webinar in our Artificial Intelligence event series on February 19, 2026.

AI is becoming a requirement, not a nice-to-have, for small businesses across the defense industrial base. This webinar brings together a panel of experts to explore how small businesses can build and use trustworthy AI, adapt when AI becomes part of a contract requirement, and leverage these tools to improve operations and competitiveness.

The Local Front Door to the Department of War

The Defense Innovation OnRamp Hubs are a strategic initiative by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) designed to lower barriers to entry for the talent and technology found in academia, startups and commercial companies. Recognizing that the best of breed technology can be found across the country, DIU currently has OnRamp Hub locations approved in eight states. These Hubs serve as accessible entry points, or physical “front doors,ˮ for innovators to collaborate directly with the DoW.
