The meeting aims to strengthen collaboration between the United States and Japan in developing advanced technologies and digital talent while tackling the latest trends and challenges in each country.

This year’s event will have a specific focus on the development of semiconductors, the future of transportation, artificial intelligence and quantum information science — vital areas that are impacting industries ranging from health and life sciences to advanced manufacturing and transportation.
Information will also be shared about the Hiroshima AI process implementation; the creation of international rules and a joint system for Data Free Flow with Trust (DEFT); data sharing; commercial use; and strategic management.
