Are you a space researcher and/or interested in exploring how your field of study could benefit space research? A 2021 Research Development Office survey identified more than 300 faculty and staff whose current research is directly applicable or adjacent to known Federal requirements and funding opportunities for space research.

To help explore this nexus and to build stronger ties between Ohio State researchers and the United States’ global efforts in space, Ohio State is launching a year-long dialog with NASA Glenn Research Center.  The first conversation on October 22 will feature Ohio State’s Executive Vice President for the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Grace Wang and NASA Glenn Deputy Director Susan Motil. Additional speakers will explore key NASA requirements and research areas across aeronautics and spaceflight regimes and share how Ohio State’s research strengths can be leveraged and aligned to help build a more thriving space program.
