CARE events promote multidisciplinary and exploratory discussion of cutting-edge issues in the field of research ethics. In doing so, it aims to advance Ohio State’s shared values and build a community around the topic of research integrity.

This CARE event will welcome panelist:
Robert J. Steel (Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, University of Nebraska, Omaha)

Dr. Steel was formerly a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Population-Level Bioethics at Rutgers and the Clinical Center Department of Bioethics at the US National Institutes of Health. Dr. Steel works primarily in bioethics, especially research ethics, and received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh for a dissertation on the epistemology of peer disagreement (specifically) and higher-order evidence (more broadly).
