Ruth Colker, Law

Ruth Colker is Distinguished University Professor and Heck Faust Memorial Chair in Constitutional Law for the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State.

A national expert on disability discrimination, Colker was among the first in the country to teach a course on the topic. She has often been a resource for the United States Supreme Court, as well as lower courts. In 2014, she was appointed as a disability expert to help resolve a consent decree between the United States Department of Justice and the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC). Her work helped change the way the LSAC determines whether applicants are entitled to testing accommodations on the LSAT.

Colker is the author of 16 books and has published more than 50 articles in numerous prestigious law journals.
