Mentoring Better: Aligning Mentor and Trainee Expectations: Making the Individual Development Plan Actionable

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute presents "Mentoring Better," a series of interactive seminars and skill building activities designed to help mentors and trainees enhance their mentoring skills and experience the mentor/mentee benefits of better mentoring.

This session of "Mentoring Better" will explore practical strategies for turning individual development plans into meaningful action. Participants will learn how to create clear, actionable goals, make effective requests of mentors, establish regular review processes and build mentoring practices that support long-term professional growth. Mentoring Better is open to graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and faculty and focuses on creating more effective and intentional mentoring experiences.
