How to Build and Maintain Relationships with Federal Agency Program Officers

Join ERIK's Nadeane Howard for a virtual panel discussion on managing relationships with federal program managers, The panelists will share their own tips and experiences and provide insight on positioning faculty members for long-term success with federal sponsors. A Q&A session will follow the discussion. 

Panelists:

• John Horack is a professor of mechanical and space engineering and the Neil A. Armstrong Chair in Aerospace Policy in the College of Engineering. He is also a professor of aviation studies and professor in the John Glenn College of Public Affairs. Prior to joining Ohio State, he served as vice president of Teledyne Brown Engineering’s Space Systems group in Huntsville, Alabama, and had an impressive career with NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
• Willliam Marras is director of the Spine Research Institute, Honda Chair in Transportation, and professor of: neurological surgery; orthopedics; and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Marras has experience working with the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and with state funding.
• Rajesh Naik is the former Chief Scientist of the 711th Human Performance Wing of the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer at Mined XAI, a spinout of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency; and senior technical consultant to Ohio State.
