The landscape of federal sponsor article-sharing policies is rapidly changing.  Join experts from The Ohio State University Libraries and the Health Sciences Library to learn about new and updated federal agency policies and how you can ensure you are compliant with your grant requirements.

This informational session will cover:

  • Common Funder Policies: How to find and interpret agency-specific guidance for funders such as NIH, NSF, DOD and more.
  • Zero-Embargo Article Sharing: When and what to consider to ensure peer-reviewed manuscripts are available immediately upon publication.
  • Background of Public Access Mandates: Understand the historical context of how these policies came to be and how they impact your grant requirements.
  • Ohio State Support: Tools and resources available to Ohio State researchers to help support compliance with funder mandates.

This workshop is ideal for researchers who currently receive federal agency funding, or who may apply in the future, as well as staff who support funded researchers.

Can’t make the workshop? Check out the Public Access Policy Guide for the latest updates.
