Deborah W. Hernandez, MA, MSCRP, Associate Vice president, will introduce the services of the research development team in the Office of Knowledge Enterprise. Kate Hayes-Ozello, PhD, will outline best practices used to support the development of large grant proposals, including:

  • Reviewing the RFP in-depth
  • Developing an outline of all required components and making sure responsibility for each piece and part is assigned to someone; negotiating a proposal development schedule that everyone can live with
  • Getting the team on the same page and keeping them there
  • Planning for mock reviews and/or feedback on the proposal draft prior to submission.

If you wish to request traditional CART services or other accommodations, please contact Karla Gengler-Nowak or 614-292-8077. Requests made 15 business days prior to the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date
