Charles William Pavey II, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Charles William Pavey II

At the time of his death, Charles Pavey (1906-2004) was still the youngest man to ever graduate from The Ohio State University College of Medicine at age 22 in 1928. His medical career spanned 57 years. Over 40 of those years, he was a member of the Ohio State faculty in the department of obstetrics and gynecology.

During his career, Pavey is said to have delivered more than 25,000 babies and was revered in his community for his tireless work ethic and love for his community. In an effort to preserve his community, he established Eventide, Inc., a rental management company, in 1937 as a side project to his medical practice and worked to restore the century-old homes that owned to their former glory.
