This is the first session of the Exploring Bioastronautics Research at Ohio State series, presented by the Human Performance Collaborative and Starlab. Join us for an engaging discussion on innovations shaping astronaut health and performance.

  • 1:40 PM – 1:55 PM: Noor Haj-Tamim – Founder; Chief Executive Officer, Avionova
  • 1:55 PM – 2:10 PM: Dr. Asimina Kiourti – Innovation Scholar Endowed Chair; Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering, The Ohio State University
  • 2:10 PM – 3:00 PM: Panel Discussion (Moderator: Abigail Harrison, Starlab Research Lead, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, The Ohio State University) Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share areas of interest during the panel discussion.

Topics will include wearable biosensors and in-flight health monitoring, analog twin and predictive modeling of astronaut health, and AI-driven solutions. The session will conclude with a panel discussion featuring all four speakers.
