Translational Data Analytics Fall Forum, Nov. 6-7, 2019

The Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI) 2019 Fall Forum is an opportunity to explore how the Ohio State community is using big data to solve today’s most complex challenges. Distinguished speakers, interactive information sessions and a faculty and student poster session will highlight how the entire campus community is using big data for good.

Dr. Katherine Ensor, Noah G. Harding Professor of Statistics and Director of the Center for Computational Finance and Economic Systems (CoFES) at Rice University, is an expert in modern statistics. She develops innovative statistical techniques to answer important questions in science, engineering and business with specific focus on the environment, energy and finance.

Faculty, postdocs and students present posters on their research and special projects involving big data. Tour of TDAI spaces are also available.

Concurrent 30-minute sessions will focus on TDAI programming and research support. Topics include demos of the Data Commons and TDAI Visualization Lab, and overviews of the TDAI Pilot Funding program and Proposal Development Office.
