Pelotonia 18 raises record $27.4 million for cancer research

Pelotonia, a grassroots organization that raises money to accelerate funding for innovative cancer research, raised a record-breaking $27.4 million this year to benefit cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James). This brings the organization’s ten-year total to more than $184 million. Pelotonia 18 included 8,470 cyclists who made up 322 pelotons (riding groups), 3,000 virtual riders, over 3,000 volunteers and countless donors and planners.

Pelotonia 19 is scheduled for August 2-4, 2019.
