In her presentation, Dr. Martens will discuss how TBI has been linked to significant cognitive and motor impairments, specifically deficits in attention and impulsivity. Notably, even mild TBIs can impair function, a problem that may be compounded by multiple injuries. The current studies investigated the effects of multiple, mild TBIs on choice and motor impulsivity and attention in rats.

This presentation will be offered in-person for up to 40 registrants in Biomedical Research Tower, Rm 105, with optional viewing via Zoom. Please indicate your preference for attendance when registering. Coffee and bagels will be available for in-person viewers.
