Faculty, researchers, and students are invited to the launch of the Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering. This in-person event will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Physics Research Building, Room 1080, on The Ohio State University Campus.
The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. with opening remarks from university leadership, followed by a presentation of the center objectives and initiatives for the coming year, including seed funding programs to support new research in QISE. Presentations from the region and the Chicago Quantum Exchange will share information on near and long term collaborative opportunities. These opening remarks will be live streamed via Zoom.
A poster session will be hosted so attendees can network and learn about the quantum activity occurring across the university and region. Refreshments will be provided at 3:00 p.m. where attendees will also have the opportunity to entangle over a quantum mixer.
