Meet Randy Moses
Randy Moses is Ohio State’s Senior Associate Vice President for Research. In this role he works to broaden major research initiatives, including coordinating Discovery Themes strategies and strengthening partnerships across the university. Dr. Moses works to expand the university’s corporate and industrial research portfolio and strengthen defense and security related research. He previously served as a Professor and Associate Dean for Research in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where his research focused on statistical signal processing, including parametric time series analysis, radar signal processing, sensor array processing and sensor networks. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a member of the American Society of Engineering Education and of the Society of Photonics and Instrumentation Engineers. Dr. Moses received his BS, MS and PhD in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
