Revised Export Control policy takes effect April 15

A revised Export Control policy takes effect on April 15, 2018. The revised policy applies to all university faculty, staff, students, visiting scholars, visitors and others retained or working at the university. Updates to the policy include revisions to descriptions of exports and sanctioned transactions to conform to recently revised federal regulations and existing export practice and expands the procedure section to reflect current operating procedures.  All personnel are encouraged to become familiar with the revised policy, especially those working in defense-related research; engineering; physical and computer sciences; biological sciences with controlled organisms or toxins; medical research using high-end technology; and those conducting research or academic collaborations with colleagues in sanctioned countries.

Please see the Export Control webpage for more details.
