Pre- and Post-Award Assistance with Proposals and/or Grants
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) supports pre- and post-award research efforts at the university by promoting the development, implementation, and coordination of sponsored research. OSP works with researchers to identify potential funding sources and develop and submit proposals to funding agencies. OSP negotiates awards, manages projects, and makes sure that research is compliant with sponsor guidelines and university policies. Financial services and procurement staff provide assistance with purchasing, travel, accounts payable, project payroll, sponsor billing, and financial reporting. To better serve our researchers, many OSP staff members are conveniently located in academic buildings across campus.
