Programs

This section provides an overview of programs supported by the The Ohio State University's Office of Research.

Grants for Research and Creative Activity in the Arts and Humanities - grants of $10,000, $20,000 and $40,000 awarded to individual faculty members or small groups of faculty beginning new research or creative projects in arts and humanities

Denman Undergraduate Research Forum - provides a means for undergraduate students to share their research with members and friends of the OSU community; recognizes the significant contributions to research by OSU undergraduates; and facilitates exchange between students, faculty, and the public

Distinguished Scholar Award - recognizing exceptional scholarly accomplishments by senior professors who have compiled a substantial body of research

Equipment - Matching - funds committed on a matching basis to groups or individuals preparing proposals to external agencies for the purchase of equipment

National Security Research and Education Programs - university-wide program established to promote and support research, study, and technology development, leading to practical, affordable solutions to the current and future security challenges America faces at home and around the world (external link to The Ohio State University's National Security Research and Education Programs web site)
