The following research administration education is offered in various formats. All are available as instructor-led sessions and offered regularly or for colleges and departments upon request. In addition, some training is available as web-based user guides and web-based video tutorials. To request one of these sessions, please call 688-3860.
Delegated Requisitioner Training
Instruction on the differences in processes, procedures, and roles and responsibilities regarding purchasing services and goods for sponsored programs as compared to those of the University. Prerequisites to this course:
- Participants must have attended Procurement System Training - Requisition 1, offered by the University’s OIT Administrative Systems, prior to taking this course.
- In addition, it is highly recommended that “Requisition 2” and Requisition 3,” also offered by OIT, be attended prior to taking this course.
New Faculty Briefings
Office of Grants & Contracts (OGC) staff meet with new faculty to discuss proposal submission and project management, roles and responsibilities, and the services the Research Foundation provides.
