- Bob Killoren, Associate VP for Research & Executive Director Research Foundation
Overview of F&A
- Tom Ewing and Phil Schirtzinger, who are both from the Office of the Controller and are also ARC members, will provide an overview of facilities and administrative costs. They will talk about how rates are calculated, how F&A is distributed back to colleges, and answer your questions.
Enhancing Funding Opportunity Searches
- Sarah Starr, Director of the Research Foundation’s Office of Funding & Development, will speak briefly about customizing funding searches for colleges and researchers using the Community of Science (COS) database.
Carmen Demo
- Jeff Agnoli, from the Office of Research Training, Education, and Communication, will demonstrate the Carmen application.
Work Group Huddles
- Workgroups will meet to "discuss next steps."
ARC January Meeting
January 9, 2007

The Blackwell
The last ARC Meeting took place on January 9th and was very productive. ARC members gathered together briefly and then broke into their individual work groups to discuss the goals of each group, how to reach those goals, and next steps. Members then reconvened and a spokesperson from each work team provided a summary the group-at-large.
ARC Inaugural Meeting
October 30, 2007
President Gee helped launch ARC on October 30th. He praised
the work of ARC members and spoke of research administrators'
significant contributions in supporting the OSU research
enterprise. President Gee stated, "I'm truly proud of who you
are and I am honored to be a part of this institution and to be
your colleague."
